Alaa Alaradi is a Bahraini designer based in Geneva, Switzerland. She is the founder of Studio A6, a collection of her jewellery, sculptures, and printed works.
Despite the name, Studio A6 isn’t tied to a physical studio—the “A6” comes from the six A’s in her commonly used name (though technically, her full name has 11). What started as a legal framework for residency has since grown into a fully realized creative venture.
Her design language is rooted in sculpture and fluidity, through an instinctive hands on approach. She explores the balance between shape and movement creating pieces that feel strong and fluid - Both her jewellery and garments are often constructed through draping or derived from sculptural volumes, developing her own sense of hand writing.
